All full-time and some part-time WCD employees are part of a pension plan that provides a defined benefit upon retirement. Eligible employees whose start date is before January 1, 2024, are enrolled in the Milwaukee Employees’ Retirement System (ERS). Eligible employees who started on or after January 1, 2024, are enrolled in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS).
