Each year, from September 15 through October 15, Hispanic Heritage Month provides an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans.
At the Wisconsin Center District, we are proud to honor the vibrant traditions, diverse perspectives and lasting impact of Hispanic and Latino communities. From art, music and food to business, innovation, education and civic leadership, these communities continue to enrich our city, our state and our nation.
Hispanic Heritage Month also serves as a meaningful reminder of the importance of inclusion, connection and celebrating the many cultures that make our communities stronger. As a gathering place for people from across Milwaukee and beyond, the Wisconsin Center District is committed to creating welcoming spaces where individuals and communities can come together, share experiences and celebrate what makes each of us unique.
Throughout the month, we encourage our employees, guests, partners and community members to take time to learn about, recognize and celebrate the rich heritage and diverse cultures represented within Hispanic and Latino communities. Here are a list of activities you can participate in!
